Tom Anderson travelled the world in search of waves, but had a hate-hate relationship with those on his home island.
Grey Skies Green Waves is Tom's exploration around the British coastline and involves sheep herding at sea, surf competitions that aren't quite what they seem and fresh(ish) water surfing on the Severn's tidal bore.
The most endearing trait of Tom's writing is how relatable he is despite being a world class surfer. His writing invites you into a world of surfing that feels both exclusively inaccessible yet intimately familiar.
